J12 – J14 · Gailey to Stafford
The southern Staffordshire stretch past Penkridge and Stafford, including Stafford services. Heavy freight and frequent debris.
J15 – J16 · Stoke and Talke
Our closest section, where the A500 joins at both ends. Includes Keele services and the Hanchurch and Talke interchanges.
J17 – J19 · Sandbach to Knutsford
North into Cheshire past Sandbach services, Holmes Chapel and Knutsford. Regular runs for us, mileage may apply at the far end.

What a REACT licence actually means on a motorway.
Working on a live motorway is restricted for good reason. REACT is the industry accreditation that covers safe traffic management, correct advance signage, high-visibility standards and the procedures for setting up and clearing a work area on the strategic road network. Without it, attending a hard shoulder is neither legal nor sensible.
Every one of our fitters holds one. In practice that means a van that arrives properly lit and signed, a work area laid out before a single nut is touched, and a job done to the same standard at 3am as at 3pm.

Can you really attend the M6 hard shoulder?
Yes, at any time of day or night. All our fitters hold a REACT licence, which is the accreditation required for work on the strategic road network, so we can set up a compliant work area on the hard shoulder and slip roads legally and safely.
What should I do before you arrive?
Get onto the hard shoulder as far left as possible, hazards on, wheels turned left. Leave the vehicle by the passenger door and wait behind the barrier, well back. If you cannot get out of a running lane, stay belted in and call 999 first.
How much is a roadside call-out?
Call-out is £40+VAT in working hours and £80+VAT out of hours, on top of the tyre and fitting. Mileage may be added over longer distances. The full total is confirmed on the phone before we set off. These are same-day emergency rates — a job booked in advance for working hours carries no call-out charge.

Do you cover smart motorway sections with no hard shoulder?
We attend emergency refuge areas and, where the lane has been closed by National Highways, the carriageway itself. If you are stranded in a live lane with no refuge, call 999 first — getting the lane closed comes before any tyre work.
