Mobile tyre fitting at the same competitive prices as in our garage!
The tyre, fitting, balancing, a new valve and disposal of the old tyre cost the same whether we fit it at the garage or on your driveway. Book a working-hours job in advance and there is no call-out charge either — that only applies to same-day emergencies and out-of-hours work.
Why it matters at night
Every one of our fitters is REACT licensed.
REACT is the accreditation required to work on the strategic road network — motorways, trunk roads and their slip roads. It covers safe traffic management, correct signage and high-visibility standards, and it is what makes roadside work at 2am legal as well as safe.
Plenty of mobile fitters will not attend a motorway at all. We can, at any hour, which is the difference between a van on its way and a long wait for a recovery truck.
When people call us at 3am.
Out-of-hours work is most of what we do. These are the jobs that come in overnight and at weekends.
No surprises
What a 24 hour call-out costs.
Some firms hide the out-of-hours premium until the invoice. Ours is published here, and you are told the full total on the phone before a van moves.
Tyre prices include fitting, balancing, a new standard rubber valve and disposal of the old tyre. Booking in advance during working hours keeps the call-out at the lower rate.
What happens when you call.
Four steps, whatever the hour. If you are somewhere dangerous, say so first and we will tell you what to do while the van is on its way.
Where we come out to, day or night.
Based in Blythe Bridge, covering Staffordshire, Cheshire and the Derbyshire border. The main roads get their own pages, because that is where most night calls come from.
Towns covered overnight include Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Blythe Bridge, Cheadle, Leek, Stone, Stafford, Uttoxeter, Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Congleton, Macclesfield, Middlewich, Northwich, Winsford, Buxton, Ashbourne and the Peak District.
Questions we get overnight.
Are you really open 24 hours?
Yes. The phone is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including Christmas. If you are stranded at 3am you speak to someone who can send a van, not an answering service.
How much is a night call-out?
Call-out is £40+VAT during working hours and £80+VAT out of hours, on top of the tyre and fitting. Mileage may be added over longer distances. You get the full total on the phone before we set off.
Can you fit a tyre on the hard shoulder at night?
Yes. All our fitters hold a REACT licence, the accreditation required to work safely and legally on the strategic road network, including motorway hard shoulders and slip roads, at any hour.
Do you carry tyres on the van at night?
The vans carry a wide stock of common car and van sizes. Tell us the size off the sidewall when you call and we will confirm whether we have it before we leave.
Is it cheaper to wait until the morning?
On the call-out charge, yes — booking inside working hours keeps it at the lower rate. If the car is undriveable or you are somewhere unsafe, do not wait.
Stuck right now? Call — we are awake.
